My career began at East Ouachita Middle School in 2017.  I have been teaching in Ouachita Parish for 10 years,  I am currently teaching 6^th grade English/Reading.

Before my career in education begain, I worked for state Farm Insurance.  I worked in the regional office for 23 years.  

Married to Mike Collins  – 1981

Mike and I have 4 adult children.

I currently have 7 grandchildren.

I have 2 dogs and 2 cats.  

I enjoy spending time with my family when I am not teaching.  I love being around the water in the warm months.  My favorie time is hanging out in the pool,  I also like to cook.  I secretly want to be the Pioneer Woman!
