I began teaching at EOMS 2017.

I have been in Ouachita Parish School System 15 years.

I teach 8^th grade Math.

I started teaching in 2007 at Shady Grove Elementary School.

I taught elementary school for 5 years.

I then taught at Richwood Middle School for 5 years.

I have taught at EOMS since it opened.

I’m married to Todd Young of Sterlington, LA

We have 2 children Jacob and Samantha.  I also have a Shorty Jack Russell puppy named “Louie”

Jacob is a graduate of ULM and now lives and works in Katy, TX.  In 2019 he won the 28 Gauge Championship at the World Skeet Shoot.

Samantha is a graduate of ULM in Psychology.  She lives in Sterlington and works as a Clinical Psychologist.

I have two grand dogs “Koe” is a german short hair and Wallen is a cur/lab mixed that is a rescue dog.

I love to watch my husband and children shoot skeet.  We travel most of the summer months and they shoot.

We’ve seen many different places around the United States following their sport.
